Pam sings straight from the heart, with a warmly personal style that draws listeners in. She is not content merely to sing the song well, but to experiment with the mood, rhythm and melody so that each performance is fresh and unique. Her stellar
band consists of guitar, bass, drums,
horn and vocals. Together they perform an eclectic mix of jazz standards, blues,
sambas (sung in it's native Portuguese), and even classic pop with a creative jazz twist.
Pam
herself is no stranger to the music business. By the age of 17 she was already performing at venues all over the
country. In college she continued voice training and continued to explore and
expand her musical interests. Pam has evolved through traditional and Brazilian
jazz, blues, R&B and also performed everything from classical operettas and
music theater to rock and country pop stylings.
The Pam Miller Band was ultimately formed to feature some of the
Delmarva Peninsula's most creative and dynamic musicians while performing everywhere from festivals to nightclubs
and concert venues. The band has been previously featured as Rehoboth Jazz Festival headliners.

band page - a work in progress - where
you can check out the band history with photos and musician links.
In an industry where labels
dominate, Pam refuses to be defined by any one style of music. Instead, she
draws from many different genres to create a sound all her own.
Pam's debut CD "Point of View" showcases the
band's more traditional jazz side. Extra horn players were added on several
selections to perform inventive arrangements.
The "Pam Miller Band" CD is more funky and upbeat, and is the kind of music she plays at
some of the hipper nightspots around the Eastern Shore, or at the annual Rehoboth Jazz Festival. It features a mix of Jazz Standards and Classic
Pop in a hip, funky style.
Pam's latest CD "All
That Jazz" is an easy listening solo effort accompanied by keyboardist Bob
Diener featuring a selection of jazz and show standards.

What is the fee for The Pam Miller Band?
The Pam Miller Band has a "karma pricing policy." We do not want to charge you more than you can afford nor do we want to be paid less than you can afford. Yes, you can find a cheaper band for your event if you reduce our service down to an interchangeable commodity. My musician partners bring many years of collective experience, dozens of references, and hundreds of events to your event. Our group is going to behave, perform, and
provide the level of service that you expect from a top performance ensemble.
Pricing is dependent on several factors including travel, length of event, number of guests, estimated playing time, special requests, and venue logistics and requirements. The minimum fee is non-negotiable. At all events,
the band expects to arrange reasonable breaks and appropriate food arrangements depending on the length of the event.
